ABOUT 2 YRS AGO, I RAN OUT OF FUEL. FUEL WAS DELIVERED BUT TAHOE STILL WOULD NOT START. REPLACED FUSE AND HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM UNTIL 6 WKS AGO. TRUCK SHUTS OFF EVERY ONCE IN AWILE, BUT USUALLY STARTS RIGHT BACK UP AS LONG AS I TURN KEY ALL THE WAY OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN. 2 DAYS AGO I WAS GETTING GAS AND TRUCK WOULDN'T START AT ALL. IT DOES CRANK THOUGH. I CHANGED OUT FUEL PUMP RELAY FUSE WITH THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS FUSE AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP. IT ALSO SAT FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES WHILE FIGURING OUT THE FUSES. CAME OUT THE NEXT MORNING AND ITA WONT START AGAIN. ALL FUSES ARE GOOD. CAME OUT THIS MORNING TRIED AGAIN AND WOULDNT START. ABOUT AN HOUR LATER TRIED AGAIN AND IT WOULD START. WHEN IT DOESNT START YOU CANNOT HEAR THE FUEL PUMP KICK ON. JUST ANOTHER FYI LAST WINTER HEAT AND LIGHTS WOULD NOT TURN OFF EVEN WITH KEY OUT OF IGNITION. PULLED FUSE AND HAVENT HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT SINCE. HEAT ONLY WORKS ON HIGH THOUGH. TRUCK IS ALSO EQUIPPED WITH REMOTE START. FOUND A COUPLE OF BULLETINS RELATING TO RELEARNING THE IGNITION BC OF SECURITY PROBLEMS AND A PINCHED WIRE UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT ON YOUR WEBSITE. ANY INSIGHT TO THIS PROBLEM WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU

Hi nocolemarie! I think the fuel pump may be bad. When it dosen't start, we need to check the fuel pressure. If the fuel pressure is below spec, verify that the fuel pump connector has power to it.
