Engine Performance problem
1999 Chevy Tahoe V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 164000 miles

I have a 1999 Tahoe with about 164000 miles . no problems up till now . I can start my tahoe fine it runs fine , but after about 20 to 25 min. running it does not respond. That is i push the accelerator and the more it chokes , bogs,no response. I can turn off for 10 to 15 min. and it will start right up again, but after a few more min. same thing . I have been told to check EGR valve, fuseable link, map sensor and even some vacumm lines . Please shed some light ?

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
