I have developed a problem with the engine shutting off. When I go to restart it, it appears there is no spark, you can pour gas right down the throttle body and nothing happens.

Let it sit awhile then it will start, but now it may start after sitting, but it won't stay running, the fuel injectors just stop squiting fuel and it dies again, then it won't start again for a while, repalced the cap and rotor, ignition coil.

Any thoughts?

It turned out to be the distributor, once replaced it starts no problem. I just need to set the timing better, when cold it runs rough until it warms up a little.

Thank for your help.
