1983 Chevy Styleline Deluxe starter problems

the starter has a problem turnin over the motor when it is warm the timing is right the starter is new and a new fly wheel the battery has 12.6 volts. the truck starts on the first turn when the motor is cold

Try shimming the starter towards the flexplate
