Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Chevy Spectrum 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic xxxxxx miles

my truck has a slight back fire i think the timing might be off but is it possible to correct by changing spark plugs, wire, distibutor parts like that. not sure about the miles on the engine its the third engine and 2nd tranny body has over 300K other than the very slight backfire it runs fine
