DINGING NOISE WHILE DRIVING

I HAVE A 2000 CHEVY SILVERADO AND NOW
WHILE I DRIVE THIS ANNOYING DINGING NOISE
COMES ON AND THE "EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHT"
FLASHES ON. IT WON'T TURN OFF OR STOP!
I HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS FOR 30 MILES TO AND
FROM WORK EVERYDAY!
HELP!

That light also alerts you on a low brake fluid level...chek that, and it could be time for new brakes!
