2003 chevy silverado
I have a 2003 chevy silverado 5.3liter it has 80,000 miles. my question is when i turn on the air it always blows out the defrost. will not stay where the control knob is. how do i fix this?

Is it electronic if yes
need a motor
If not check you vacuum hoses

I think you are having an issue with the mode door actuator.If you have a good scanner,you can compare the mode actuator desired counts to the actual counts.This will tell you if you have an actuator problem.
