Shakes or Wobbles problem
2002 Chevy Silverado Automatic 35500 miles

I do need an alignment, I hit someone who pulled out in front of me about a year ago, but only scratches to the front bumper. Recently the steering wheel shakes about a 1/4 inch when around 35mph, also between 5-10mph when slowly accelerating the whole truck wobbles (feels like a tire is loose). Is this me just needing an alignment or is there something else wrong?

At the least, i'd get all four tires in the air, one at a time if you have too. Do it safely, try to move the wheel in and out, up and down, see if you feel anything? You might also run your hand around the thread, see if you feel a knot or anything. Have you tried rotating the tires to see if that makes any difference? If you can't find anything, take it to a shop.
