1999 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 198000 miles
my powersteering and brakes just went out on my 99 chevy silverado 5.3L engine. I have to stand on my brake pedal to get my truck to stop. All I can do to steer too.

Check and test the hydro boost unit sounds like its gone this unit uses hydraulic pressure instead of vacuum to provide power assist
