1998 Chevy Silverado ABS problem

1998 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles
I have a 98 Silverado Z71 and when I come to a stop on dry pavement (e.g. stop sign/light), the abs ingages. I heard it could be a vehicle speed sensor, wheel speed sensor, or abs plug on wheel bearing. Any advice? It only does it sometimes, and when there is snow on the ground, the abs seems to work fine.
