Shakes or Wobbles problem

a few weeks ago my buddy and I changed out the plugs/wires/cap/rotor. and then after a week and some it feels like its misfiring when i was stopped at a drive thru. so i was assuming that one of the wires had come loose off the cap, but when i check everything is still tight. it has a really rough idle and when i press the gas it shakes too. the exhaust fumes smell different from the norm. all plugs are gapped correctly, firing order is also correct. dont know what could be wrong.
