1994 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

the power steering on my truck was making a bad whining noise. changed the pump still making the same whining noise like it has air in it or something

Inspect hoses for damage. Also inspect drive belt to ensure it is not damaged and is tightened properly. If OK, try bleeding the air out of the system. Open the power steering resevoir and while engine is running, turn wheel from left to right as far as possible several times. Hold the wheel to each place for several seconds each time. This will bleed any air out of the system.
