1993 Chevy Silverado not sure if electrical engine wont sta

New alternator past 4 months, new distributor cap, new coil wire,

tries to start but does not gas is going into the carburator

Hi:
Is it getting spark to the plugs? Also, check the fuel pressure. Most parts stores will lent or rent the gauge. If you need to know how to do it, here is a video that explains.
