My wiper were going on and off with the wiper switch in the off position. Replace the switch and problem continued so I replaced the wiper motor.

when I pluged it in I got steady washer on and no wiper until completely full on position on the intermittent switch. The motor is different than the old one but the connector is the same. do I need to replace the connector as well.
