im looking to buy an older, 85-87 chevy pickup, i am wondering what the pros/cons are of early fuel injection vs carb, especially with cold weather and operations

most of them had TBI units on them and the problems were vacuum leaks as they tended to blow the gaskets under the TBI unit. As well as hoses going to the map sensor. Also the connections ging to the injector had some problems though.
