Has anyone heard of dropping a moth ball into your gas tank to clean out carbon? Had an oldtimer tell me this. Claims he has used this method before.

No I have never heard of that one. Maybe once upon a time that may have worked but im not sure anymore. I saw on mythbusters once that it was a myth that mothballs could harm your engine.
