The flasher for the turn signals is in the power distribution center below the left side of the dash , round silver thing with 2 prongs on the plug. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I have a 97 S-10 and the flashers are located under the cig lighter/power ports. I had to take the lower dash apart to get to them. It was such a pain, I replaced both while I had it open.

I have a 1996 Chevy S10, LS, 4x4, 4.3L with 98000 miles. I know that I need to replace the flasher, but I can't find it. I feel that this should be easy to replace, but I am running out of places to look. HELP!!

I don't know what brake flasher you're looking for but the turn signal flasher is here. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/97134779.gif The Turn Signal Flasher is located behind Knee Bolster, near Cigarette Lighter.

Electrical problem
1996 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Does anyone know definitively where the turn signal flasher switch is located on a 1996 Chevy S-10 Pickup? I have been told inside the steering column housing but I removed bottom plate and see nothing that looks like it up in there. Nobody at parts stores or even the Chevy dealerships I called are any help. Thank you for any help you can provide.
