2002 Chevy S-10 door hinge pins and bushing

2002 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
The bushing on the drivers side upper door hinge is in need of replaceing. How do I remove and reinstall the spring on this hinge? The pins and bushing are no problem as I have done this on almost every GM i have ever owned but getting this spring back in place perplexes me.
