The oil pressure gauge started flailing back a forth first high then low then leveled out in a higher position than normal. Next day truck wouldn't start, all fuses where checked. Fuel pump not yet tested. Could it be an oil pressure swtch? If so, where is that located. I want to elliminate all possible other things before dealing with the fuel pump. I think there is only one fuel pump and it is in the tank!
Let us pray. Oil pressure switch. Oil pressure switch. PLease say it could be that.

I dont know what the fuel pump would have to do with the oil gauge but if u want to check fuel pump just get under it and have some one turn the key on u will hear the motor start in t he tank if its workin or spray some starter fluid in the air intake and see if it wants to turn over
