2000 Chevy S-10 gas mileage
Engine problem
2000 Chevy S-10 V6 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
I bought a newer truck and the gas mileage is very poor.
My old 1991 chevy S-10 4X4 with the 4.3 eng. got 24 MPG. ( Manual transmission).
My new 2000 chevy S-10 4X4 with the 4.3 eng. is getting only 14 MPG ! (this truck is a ZR2 version with an automatic transmission).
Other than driving habits, tire pressure, air filter, plugs-cap-rotor, what can I look for to cure this problem ? MAF sensor ? Transmission ?
