Engine surges occasionally at low speeds but mostly at highway speeds. Has new plugs, wires, fuel filter, computerized control module, and ignition coil. Dealership cleaned fuel injectors. Nothing is helping. Technicians can find no vacuum leaks, etc. No codes. What would you suggest I start changing next - have to try something. The techs say everything checks out and they went over it thoroughly. They want to check the timing chain next. Me, I think it's something simpler.
Also, car dies on cold start when I put it in drive. Doesn't always do this.
This truck is driving me crazy. What parts would you swap out first. I'm going to start with the oxygen sensors and go from there. The catalytic converter checks out as does the fuel system - fuel pump, etc.
