2000 Chevy S-10 Engine Quits
Engine Performance problem
2000 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 84000 miles
When I drive my S-10 sometimes on the interstate it will chug, and if I am at a stop sign or at a light and slowed or stopped, it will quit. I am able to restart it, but it will continue to do this. I had it checked out at a car shop and they changed the TPS sensor and the Air Conditioner relay vent (something like that). The garage said I had good fuel pressure, so that would eliminate a fuel pump or filter, right? Could it be that I have some particle or debris in my gas tank? The truck is about 800 miles overdue for an oil change, could that be the problem?
