I have a 1996 Chevy s10 with a 4.3L v6 vortec TBI. The truck is really hard to start if it hasn't been ran in a while. Most of the time after a few days I have to push start to get it to crank. It also misfires while driving down the road. The only code that pops up says there is a multiple cyclinder misfire. I've checked the fuel pressure and it stays around 55 psi. I've changed plugs, wire, dist cap, rotor button, and coil. I'm beginning to wonder if it is the Inginition control module or another sensor. Also the fuels stays engaged between 5-15 seconds after I cut the truck off. Any ideas on this problem?

Get a fuel injection cleaning. My camaro does multiple missfires sometimes but its normal in a 3.8 v6 I dont know if its normal in a 4.3. Does it really use a distributer.I would think in that year it uses 3 coils. If it uses 3 coils well u might need coils.

Yeah I don't know why it still has a distrubtor but it does. I'm going to clean the intake and see if that helps
