1996 Chevy S-10 Won't start

My 96 S-10 has fuel and spark but still won't start. My attention turned to timing but the timing is non adjustable. Please help!

Type of fuel system TBI or Vortec Spider CPI?

It has neither of those types. It is equipped with centra sequential fuel injection (CSFI)

Was your check engine light on before problem my tahoe did that it was the crank position sensor would not turn over the sensor cost me bout 75 bucks but it turned over first try and that would also give u bad time code go to auto zone they show u a pic of were it is does not hurt to try
