Hy I've bought me a chevy S10 but I can't get it trough TC because my emission is bad but when it turns in idle it doesn't run sweet and blue smoke comes out of it when I drive it is better when the engine has cooled down for a few ours it starts immediatly but otherwise I have to give full trottle to get is started and have to play with it before it runs sweet, when I pull the MAP sensor a bit then the vacuum laeks and engine runs better for just a moment
thnks in advance
grts

Get the engine scanned ans see what the codes are to fix it. You may have a valve seal problem along with a needing either a fuel filter or pump.

When you get emission tests it is best to change the oil and filter before you go so you get the fuel out of the oil. Fuel will build up in the oil and affect your tests. Then drive the vehicle at least 15 miles on the exspressway if possible. Then go get it tested. This usually takes care of things. If you live on a gravel road and it doesn't matter if it's only a block, your air filter should be changed once a year. If you haven't changed it in a while then it's good to change it.
