MY CHEVY S10 BLAZER WONT START

2000 Chevrolet Other

Ok here is my problem. Last night I exchanged a fuel pump for a stubborn customer. I explained to him that it could have been that or a combination of things. But, he insisted that I change it. $O I did but the vehicle still didn't start up. So I began to check the basics burnt fusees, cut wires, or simply any unplugged wires, or malfunctioning relays. It all came out good but, the car wouldn't start. The fuel pump was getting no power. When we first tried it. But after checking the electrical systemwhich took about 15 minutes turned the key to on position and we heard the pump come on. Then we tried to start it but nothing we turned the key to the on position but never heard the pump come back on. So I took a look at the dash and saw the security light on but the owner doesn't and never has had an alarm remote so im lost pleez help me out : lol:
