Fuel Filter

Ok i have a 1989 Chevy Astro 144xxx miles. Today was driving and it was going just fine then it startd to act up and eventually just shut off. Havent got it started since. A couple friends came by n the tow truck man all said the same thing. Its the fuel filter and its clogged. Went to go change it And i cant find it. Can you let me know where the fuel filter is located?

should be tucked up into the frame just about under the driver's seat

like mike said it should be on the frame, if not check in front of the gas tank between the back rear and the tank itself
