Bleeding after new clutch installed

I have a 85' chevrolet s-10 pickup. I bought a clutch kit and replaced the old one when I tried to bleed it the clutch peddle doesn't get strong.I push in the clutch pedal and hold while someone else open the bleeder valve, close it back let off the clutch then press clutch again and bleed it again. It has clear fluid coming out(no air or bubbles) but still don't have any clutch.Whats causing that?

Try bench bleeding the clutch master cylinder before putting it in the car.
