CHEVY BLAZER 4DR 4X4
2000 Chevrolet Other
I have a 2000 chevy blazer that is a 4dr 4X4 and has 104k miles on it. Recently it has been starting to have a whining sound from what seems to be the front of the vehicle that gets louder when the car accelerates through the different gears of the automatic transmission. Also when it idles at a stop light all of the digital panels like the odometer, clock, and the park through Drive 1, 2, and 3 dash lights flicker with the vibrations of the idle. The car is running fine and this problem is not happening all the time. I have noticed it more frequently when the weather temperatures are above 50 degrees outside. I recently have replaced all sparkplugs, fuel filter, and hub bearing assembly on the front ends. I would like to know if this could be something as simple as a loose electrical cord or something more serious. My mpg has also diminished in when this problem occurs.
