1979 Chevy Nova Engine won't spark

My husband is restoring a 1979 Nova and now the engine will try to start, but won't crank over he replaced the Ignition coil and cap and rotor but says there is still no spark when he looks at the spark plugs. What could be causing this? He has tried everything he knows and cannot figure it out. He says it is getting fuel and is not flooded.

When my Chevy did that it was the camshaft drive that was busted.
