My car falls flat on its face when I try to accelerate. It almost fells like it is starving for fuel but it is reading 50 psi at idle and over 60 psi while driving. If I acclerate slowly it picks up fine but if I mash the pedal it feels ilke it loses 3 cylinders. I just completed a complete tune-up and there is no change in its perfromance. What could it be?

It could be a coil pack going bad or it could be a Mas Air Flow Sensor, or a Throtle position sensor. Do you have a check engine light or anything?

Try loosening the exhaust befoe the cat converter and driving it. Loud, but if the cat is bad it will run ok
