Fan Control

The fan speed control in my wife's car is screwy. It just dribbles air out except on 5 then it blasts air out. Is this just a bad switch?

Sounds like the fan speed conrtoller. Located next to the blower motor under the dash on the pass side. Be sure your cabin filter is clean as well if the car is equipped with one. A clogged cabin filter will greatly reduce the amount of air out of the vents
