sometimes when I try to start the car the engine makes a spuuttering cranking noise dealer has been unable to find a problem

Did they say what your fuel pressure was? Did they check your fuel pressure regulator? Was there any codes in the car when they scanned it?

Install a fuel pressure gauge and it should be around 60 psi
