I hav experience with low power steering fluid before, so I knew when it was hard to turn my steering wheel that it must be low on fluid. My husband checked and sure enough the compartment was completely dry. We filled it to the proper level, but I am still having trouble. I drove it around the block about three times after we filled it with steering fluid. I had asked a friend who is a mechanic if it could be something else. He said most likely not that it can take some time. How long can it take for steering fluid to kick back in? Also, if it wasn't just the steering fluid what else could it be? Will it be an extravagent cost?

Double check the fluid level. If it is low again you must have a leak. It could be hose clamp on return line, high pressure hose is bad or the rack is leaking. Lets hope for the loose hose clamp. Hope this helps
