Water Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system.
Loosen the water pump pulley bolts.
Remove the drive belt.

Remove the water pump pulley bolts and pulley.
Remove the water pump bolts, pump and gasket.
Clean the water pump mating surfaces.
Installation Procedure

Install the water pump gasket and pump (1). Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the water pump bolts.
*Tighten the water pump bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).

Install the water pump pulley and bolt until snug.
Install the drive belt.
Tighten the water pump pulley bolts.
*Tighten the water pump pulley bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) .
Fill the cooling system.
Inspect for leaks.
