1999 Chevy Malibu misfire in #1 cylinder


I recently replaced the head gaskets on a 99 chevy malibu engine ran rough pulled codes using scanner came back with a p0301 cylinder#1 misfire I have replace spark plugs and wires any other suggestions

are you getting bright blue spark on that cylinder?

This can be anything from improper lifter installation to a warped head, check compression in the cylinder, it's recommended to soak the lifters for several hours prior to installaltion in oil...? Can be a bad valve, vale spring lifter, head or gasket...

Swap two of the fuel injectors to see if the miss moves. # injector and what ever it most convenient. Orings were replaced correct?
