I have 1990 Toyota Celica St( 1.6)
the oil light come on after coming to a stop whe the rpm drops below 1,000 but goes aaway when I accelerate. This doesn't happen until after I've driven awhile. I've checked the oil and it well within range of sufficient oil on the stick. It is not on when I am driving on when I come to a stop and take my foot off the acerater. I have a manual 5 speed. the engine is used with about 60,000 to 70,000 on it. Should I replace the oil sensor or check for something else?
