1995 Chevy Lumina Just bought Lumina and it stalled

1995 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Automatic 139000 miles

We bought our car yesterday and we turned it off and it started and then shuts off after a second kind of like we are running low on gas. My husbands friend works on trucks soo he went into the fuse box and took out the fuel pump relay and put the air conditioner fuse in its place and it works now. My question is what do we do now?We bought another fuel pump relay and it didnt work. Only the air conditioner fuse works.

Maybe you got the wrong fuel pump relay for your car. If your car works now with your AC relay in the fuel pump relay slots, maybe all you need to do is to leave it where it is and get another AC relay. I don't think it would be a big deal since you also have a fuse to protect the circuit.
