how do you change rear brake pads on a 1992 chevy lumina can not get piston push in on calibers

Hi, this car may have screw type pistons. If you look inside the cylinder and you see two holes one on either side of the cylinder they are screw type. If they are use vise grips and c clamp at the same time. If they are not screw type the calipers are seized and need replaced billymac
