I have a 2000 Ford Windstar 3.8L. The theft light is flashing. It was starting and running fine. I was testing the MAF because of some low idle problems. Then when I tried to start it the theft light started flashing. How do I fix it please?

Do you have a keyless entry pad to lock and ulock the doors. Try to lock the van with it set the horn and all. If that don't work try disconnect the battery for 10 seconds.Q. You have switched keys by chance. The keys that come with the van have a chip built into them and must be used or theft will activate(NOS) 8)
