I'm replaceing a intake manifold gasket on a 91 camaro rs 305 and the rear ports were blocked with small peices of tin when origianally assembled just the two rear ports were blocked off and stamped in the metal is says (rear port)

any Idea why these are here and what these are for ?[/img]
