When I first start driving my Impala, the engine heats up real fast. The temperature gauge actually goes past the half way mark. But then the thermostat kicks in and lowers the temp. It does this twice and then seems to be fine. My problem is that it seems to be getting hotter the first time (meaning needle goes farther). What could be causing this?
