My temp gauge keeps floating saying its running hot but when I drive the gauge goes back up. It doesnt smoke or leak tho?

If the vehicle is overheating, the first thing to check is coolant level. If you are low, do a pressure check. You will have a leak somewhere.

Intake manifold gaskets are very common on your vehicle, they don't burn or leak externally most of the time too. Check your oil and level, if the oil is real watery or looks like a milkshake, you got a problem.
