yesterday after I went out of town my car cut off in the middle of the street. After turning the key on the third try it started back up. when it started i drove it home and my temperture gage started elevating but the car didn't reach the point of running hot & smoking but it was having a hard time pulling off when @ the the red light. It has water & i keep my oil changed and none of my sensor lights are coming on the dash, because I a female several places have told me it maybe the transmission,the fuel filter,a hose etc. What do you suggest i get checked first.
