Hello,

I have a 2001 Chevy Impala and it's having trouble turning over without a jumpstart. When I turn the ignition I hear a series of clicks coming from the fusebox and my power windows attempt to lock or relock. Also the instrument needles pulse in time with the clicks. Since the noise is coming from the fusebox, I suspect a relay of some sort...but I have no expertise to back that up. Thoughts?

Hello, I'd make sure the battery has a full charge, battery connections are clean and tight on both ends. If that checks out, do some testing at the starter relay in the power distribution center, under the hood. Your owners manual should show locations of fuses and relays.

Glad you got it going your way. Also make sure the charging system is ok.
