Engine Performance problem
2001 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
2001 Chevy impala, 143k mileage. After about 20 minutes of driving when i have my foot on the gas to hold a certain speed, it will start knocking. I let my foot off the gas and it stops, but when i try and push on the gas again it will continue to knock. Eventually it stalls. After it stalls and i try and start it back up, It takes a couple tries to get it to start again, sometimes wont stay started. Happens very often when it is hot out. Someone suspected it was the Mass Air Flow sensor. I changed that out and that didn't help.
