2003 Chevy Express V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown 25,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Randomly, the vehicle won't start. Turn the key, the lights on dash, radio will work, but there is no response at all from anything else. It isn't battery, it isn't fuel pump or related, because perhaps three, four, ten or twenty attempts later, it will start just fine like nothing was ever wrong. It will go days and start every time. And it will go days and not start at all. Dealers aren't helpful because by the time i get it started and in to service, it starts just fine. Doesn't seem to matter whether it's cold winter, hot summer, cold engine or warm engine. I'm ready to start having a mechanic re-wire everything, one item at a time, to see what happens. One man responded to me on ChevroletForum that he has the same problem, and spoke to another person who had had it, and ehe second person replaced the computer and no more problems. I'm willing to do that, but I can't get enough information from anyone in the know to make a wise decision. Chevy dealer said go to their website under Bulletins, but it's locked, password protected.

Any person who has had this problem, please respond. I'm sure there are a few of you out there. Thanks kindly.
