Have a 2000 chevy express van. I changed the wires and plugs. The van still runs ruff when I drive. Also added some fuel injection cleaner and still ruff idle and runs ruff

Nothing you would ever add to a fuel tank is going to repair any problem. Those thing work slightly as preventatives but nothing else. If you have a check engine light coming on, get the codes read first. Someone knowledgeable is going to have to figure out whether it's fuel or ignition causing the problem before you're going to know where to go next.

The check engine light isnt on always. Some day it comes on or a short time. If the the van is in neutral or park and I step on the gas it seems like i'm getting good rpm. But if I put in drive or reverse is when it realy start running ruff.

I've have a code tester put on the van. I didn't recieve any codes stating there was any signals coming from the computer givng me a reason why the van has a ruff idle. Is it possible that the cam shaft could cause this as well. Cause it even when its wet out the van runs even more ruffer then

If the check engine light came on in the past and you haven't erased the codes, they will be there to retrieve.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be worn teeth on distributor drive gear that allowed slop in the rotor. Real high mileage on vehicle, 360,000.
