2000 Chevy Express Error Code P0251
Computer problem
2000 Chevy Express V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
Van was stalling, but would start right back up. Then stalled and wouldn't restart. Now won't start at all. Cahnged fuel filter. Injectoer pump was replaced bt Chevy at about 100,000. Get error code p0251.

A PO251 is showing up as an injector pump issue on a diesal. I don't think you have the duramax in your vehicle. Can you tell me if you checked for fuel and spark to the engine?

No we don't have the Duramax in the van. We can hear the fuel pump running and smell the fuel. It is 11pm now, I will have my husband check on the fuel and spark in the morning. We have recently replaced the glow plugs and the glow plug controller.

I need to confirm something. If you have glow plugs, then it is a diesel. Please let me know.

Yes, it is a diesel, but not the Dutamx. It is a 6.5.
