Chevy a/c ambient temperature sensor location

2008 Chevy Equinox 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 35000 miles
The manual for my Equinox says the A/C won't come on below 38F. Could someone tell me the physical location of the temperature sensor which provides this information?
